Artists are invited to submit up to two, two-dimensional works of art to the First Unitarian Church of South Bend Juried Art Show on the theme of "Sustaining Our Earth for Future Generations". Submit your work(s) via this Google form.
The First Unitarian Church of South Bend is celebrating its birthday. We are seventy years old and hosting a party with an art show, concert, and panel discussions all on the topic of sustainability. Join our celebration by submitting your two-dimensional works of art with awards of $900, $500, $250, and additional cash prizes for students.
Examples of acceptable, ready-to-hang media include: watercolors, photographs, pastels, acrylics, pen, charcoal, oil, photography, mixed media, etc. There is a limit of two submissions per artist. There are no submission fees. Submissions by artists less than 18 years old must also submit a permission form. Works selected by the juror will be on display at the Church Sunday afternoons March 19 through May 14. The opening reception will be held Friday, March 17. Deadline for submissions is February 24. Accepted works must be delivered to the Church (801 E Washington Street, South Bend) by March 5. Artists can pick up their works May 14.
